A Gold Star Day

I don't usually do this, but these are the kinds of days you want to frame and hang up on your wall:

9:30- 158
11:50- 117
12:51- 98
1:05 - 76
3:00- 100
5:20- 74
7:13- 111
9:45- 142

Only two lows, but they were very mild ones.

At 3:00, when I was 100, I decided to give myself a little reward. Since I was done with classes, I bought a DQ Reese's Blizzard and sat on the lawn in front of the Lillis Business School in the warm, April sunshine.

My dad now owes me $1.00. (As per an agreement made in middle school. $1.00 for every 100. I'm trying to get a raise for inflation, but it isn't working.)

I am a Rock Star.

Not that it matters, but...
were you still around 100 post- blizzard? lol
Your Dad should pay you double for pulling that one off...
Don't you ever look at the perfect bg days and think-geez, this is what a cure would be like ALL OF THE TIME!
Non-D's just don't know how it feels, to be so stable.(because they are stable) I just don't know if I could handle that- having perfect bgs consistently! (Would be really weird)

That "74" was my post-Blizzard reading. Haha, too funny...

Today I'm either excellent or low, which means something fishy is going on with my basals.

Whenever I have days like that I either think: 1) Maybe my body has sponteneous grown new islets (ok, not seriously, but you can't help but at least ponder the possibility or 2) When am I going to screw up?

It's hard to appreciate the good days because I'm too worried about messing things up.

Wow, what an awesome day! I'm proud of you, and personally woudn't even count those 70-something readings as lows...but that's just me ;)

Thanks you guys!

J.J.- I feel low in the 70s and I basically count anything that I feel low at as a Low. Even if I'm in the 80s and I feel low, that goes in the books as a pre-low, because I know that I'm dropping. I'm a crazy anomaly, I know...
